When: 07/20/2003
On Highway 181 to the Chiricahuas.
Ruh roh...not paved.
An easy path. Drew in the background.
Jack preparing to open a gate.
Jack opening said gate.
Drew's 'Rover on the dirt road.
Pretty. This is one of over a dozen DRY river crossings. :(
One of the medium-rocky river crossings. Dry. :(
A random cactus. Had a hornet's nest on it too.
A weird red-barked tree.
Me trying to be creative with the camera.
Again, creativity.
Jack closing a different gate.
A shot from inside my X.
Fields on the way out of the trail.
These cows attacked us. Seriously, they charged our trucks.
We had to retreat, regroup, and come back.
Evil cows.
Cows.
More of the attacking herd.
This cow wouldn't leave the trail until threatened with being smacked by a Land Rover.
A windmill. Those clouds never rained on us. :(
The last few hundred feet takes you through a farm. This is the rancher's goat.
Highway 181 towards Willcox.
Cows grazing on the side of the road.
The Xterra, slightly muddy, filling up in Willcox.
The 'Rover doing much the same, slightly less muddy.
The really awesome Willcox Police Department. Note the awesome 1970s forensics van.
